Hi! I'm Ryann Peyton (They/Them) and I started Brave Boardroom because I believe our world needs courageous leaders now more than ever.

I'm a lawyer by trade and have spent the last 20 years serving on, leading, and working with boards of all shapes and sizes. During that time I've developed a unique expertise in blending legal thought, governance innovation, and equity-centered leadership to modernize nonprofit and association board practices. 

My passion is solving equity-related challenges in complex and dynamic settings to help organizations build resilient, inclusive cultures. My work is grounded in a commitment to transforming systems—not just people.

My mission is to help organizations and boards grow into communities that are courageous, competent, and reflective of the diverse world they serve.

My approach helps boards establish structures that center transparency, accountability, and alignment with mission and values—while also fostering ethical leadership and sustainable growth.
